Guest Dresses

Last weekend my husband, our friends, and I attended a great wedding up in Towson for our dear friends Mike and Kelly.  We had an absolute blast celebrating with them!  For months before the wedding, I searched high and low for a new dress to wear.  (You can see the evidence of this on my pinterest fashion board.)  I knew the basic idea of what I wanted but had a difficult time finding it.  And, has anyone else noticed that once a dress is up on pinterest, it tends to be sold out quickly?  What great advertising, huh?

In any case, I ended up at Macys with the hubs who helped me find this amazing dress from Vince Camuto.  Although I swore up and down that it was an orange, I think it is listed as red pepper.  Either way, I was so happy with it.  I paired it up with some nude pumps (Thanks, Steph) and gold jewerly.

If you don't know Vince Camuto's line, definitely check out his website:  www.vincecamuto.com.
Here are some more great options I found....

Wouldn't this simple, white dress be great for the day after the wedding brunch?

And, this romper is adorable!  Can you say beach honeymoon?

Has anyone else found any great styles lately?  Do share!

Charm City Pedal Mill

When I was in middle school, our family visited Holland and a little town called Dwingeloo.  I specifically remember my dad and the man of the house we were visiting riding around on some sort of a pedal wagon that went around their "brink" - their town square.  I remember my dad joking around about how he had a drink on the brink!

So, needless to say, ever since I saw a recent add for the Charm City Pedal Mill, I have been trying to get our friends to head out for a bar crawl!

The Charm City Pedal Mill is quite the experience for a bachelor or bachelorette party. The pedal mill is a bike that fits up to sixteen people. Everyone pedals the bike while an employee steers so there are no accidents. You can bring your own food onto the bike, but alcohol is not allowed. However, there are plenty of chances to get drinks in the bar and restaurant stops along the Pedal Mill route.

The Pedal Mill runs 7 days a week and the route can even be customized to your liking i.e. you decide where the Pedal Mill goes instead of the pre-determined route. There's also a pub crawl that stops at various bars, all with happy hour specials throughout the night!

If you use Charm City Pedal Mill, take pictures and share with us!
