Love Doves -- or some other similar birds :)
In our first home we had a set of "love doves", as we've named them, who would have their cocktail hour on our porch railing. It was cute: day by day they grew old together. So, needless to say, I have something for love doves.
A recent wedding I just finished up with had the cutest little bird theme. I'm not exactly of its origin, but I think that the tree in which the couple engraved their names played a large role in developing this theme.
The gray dressed nicely accompanied those pretty silver birds. Check them out below.
The coolest thing about these birds on the branches is that they had little springs attached to them. I saved all of them after the ceremony for the couple to reuse on their Christmas tree this holiday season.
These little birds held the small votive candles that the moms used as a part of the unity candle ceremony.
Isn't this setting pretty? You can't tell it was scorching hot -- can you?!?
This was a cute little addition -- instead of using a guest book, the couple chose to have me place these Amanda & Jimmy madlibs at each place setting with a personalized wedding pen for each guest.
Thank you to all the amazing vendors we had the pleasure of working alongside!
