Cupcake Wedding Cakes

Cupcakes have become extremely popular this year so why not incorporate them within your wedding? These scrumptious desserts come in a variety of designs and flavors that can cater to anyone’s taste buds.

Some people still want to keep the wedding cake style while allowing their guests to pick their favorite type of cake instead of having three different wedding cakes. Cupcake wedding cakes give you an opportunity to mix and match.

Another great idea is to use the individual cupcakes to send a message to your guests!!

Healthy Wedding Cocktails

Whether you’re trying to go down those last five pounds, looking for a healthier lifestyle or inclined to try something new; there are healthy, tasty and relatively easy cocktail recipe options that work well for any style of wedding. Today it’s become fashionable to try a variety of spices to create a new subset of cocktails. It’s time for traditional mixers like Sprite and Cranberry Juice to move over, now spices such as chili powder, lavender and ginger are stealing the spotlight at the wedding reception!

If drinking chili powder seems a little too adventurous to you and your guests (and I really don’t blame you) you can find other healthy options that substitute soda with fruit juice, meaning a more natural cocktail with less calories. A few options such as a Fruit Salad Cosmo can be found at http://shine.yahoo.com/shine-food/3-delicious-wedding-cocktails-2571315.html

A great suggestion is to have a couple’s cocktail. Why not start your marriage with a great drink that your guests love and that you can name whatever you want?! Have the taste of your drink match your style as a couple; sweet, spicy, exotic or put a twist to a classic drink. You can also make the color of your cocktail match a theme. There are so many different options that its easy to personalize your cocktail.

Billy Ball Flowers

When looking to add a splash of color to your wedding bouquet or center piece a great addition in the flower department are Billy Ball Flowers, which are also commonly called Craspedia. These bright yellow flowers are available year round, and are guarenteed to add a certain flare to your wedding.

Image Found: www.iloveswmag.com

A typical Billy Ball flower has a long green stem with a sphere shaped bright yellow head. It complements a variety of flowers, in particular Billy Ball Flowers seem to go well with white flowers such as white roses, or other yellow flowers like tulips or sunflowers. This mix of yellow and white is great for a summer wedding!
The Billy Ball flower’s rustic coloring can highlight and accentuate an earthier wedding theme...

...but it is also such a unique looking flower that it would look great with a chic wedding as well.

27 Dresses, okay maybe not that many!

Picking a bridesmaids dress can be a lot of fun because there are so many options to choose from: Long dress or short? Color? Will the bridesmaid dresses complement yours or contrast? Will each bridesmaid even have the same dress? And when it comes down to it will you find a dress that looks good on everyone? Here are a few ideas to help direct your search, with the added bonus that it is always fun to look up dresses online!
Image found: www.thedressmarket.com
Some brides like their bridesmaid dresses to mirror their own, either in length or neckline. This is great if you are going for a more uniform or cohesive group look. Here is an example of how classy a strapless looks on a variety of people.

Here are dresses that are similar in color and length, but that are differently designed. Not everyone feels comfortable in a strapless while some think that it makes a dress more elegant. No matter your opinion, different dress designs is a way to appease all body types while distinguishing your bridesmaids from the rest of the guests.

These are a few more examples of bridesmaid dresses all with bows on them. Bows are so cute and in fashion right now. They are a nice and simple way to bring a girly flare to your dress without doing anything drastic.

Bouquet Ideas and Meanings

No matter the season, bouquets are elegant and a vital part of pulling the wedding together. When choosing the perfect bouquet it is a great idea - and a lot of fun- to look at flower meanings. Flowers can help incorporate a theme or can be selected by personal preference. When choosing which type of flower to put into your wedding bouquet keep the following in mind:

Roses are classic. Red symbolizes love and passion, white is purity and pink may symbolize happiness. Yellow, while a lovely color, symbolizes friendship and jealousy. This may not be exactly what you are trying to convey on your wedding day.

Lilies are such an elegant flower, often symbolizing purity.

Tulips, all of the rage in Holland during the seventeenth century, are such a cheerful flower. In fact, a yellow tulip can mean happiness or kind thoughts. The red tulip symbolizes perfect love which I think is very sweet.

Orchids are such an exotic flower and can spice up any arrangement. Pink orchids are known for refinement among other things.

Flowers and headbands can also add a nice touch to an otherwise simple updo.

Updos look great in the summer time while simultaneously keeping you cool and your hair out of your face. Another plus being you don't have to worry about the humidity as much.

Do not be afraid to keep it simple and classic, or to try something new that you see in a magazine. Just make sure to test out the new look first to make sure you like it before your wedding day.

Its a Nice Day for a White Wedding!

A classy and timeless theme that works for any type of wedding is a white wedding theme. The color white is appropriate for any season or time of day. It is a theme that is universal, and while many brides may fear that it will constrict the originality of the wedding, it is simply not so. A white wedding theme can give your day a vintage feel or an incredibly chic look.

A great way to incorporate a new style into a white wedding theme is to add different textures. Try working with different shades of white (i.e. cream or ivory), or perhaps add in a dash of color to make something stand out.

The best part about the white wedding theme is the opportunity to make it completely your own. There are a million options to choose from, the sky is the limit!

Pixilated Photo Booth

A great way to capture the memories from your wedding is to order a photo booth! Pixilated is a company which provides hours of entertainment for wedding guests in order to celebrate your day and make it even more special. Two of Pixilated's packages are the Touch N’ Go and the Stay N’ Play, both of which come with four hours of fun and unlimited photos for your guests. An attendant is there to help guests take pictures and personalizes the experience by encouraging and directing those posing for pictures. The packages both have an USB option which allows pictures to effortlessly be transferred from the photo booth to a computer or any social media site. The major difference between the two package options is that the Touch N’ Go offers the opportunity to print pictures in color immediately. Guests can instantly save and share the memories made at your wedding. If you have any questions you can contact Patrick at patrick@getpixilated.com. The photo booth option combines photography with an activity that guests are bound to enjoy and never forget!
